Courtyard Garden - Ultimate Decadence

**I'm 1 year older today...Happy Birthday Me! To celebrate that I've decided to go with a post filled with decadent delights!**

I recently went to review a few of the new dishes at The Courtyard Garden in Damansara Heights and I must say that my meal represented food at it's finest.

Chef Alex Sow specialises in Western and Asian fusion. "I like to use a lot of Japanese ingredients with French cooking techniques, but overall I just like to blend different tastes and see how they work together" he expressed.

The freshness of the ingredients...and the exquisiteness of each dish was a dreamy experience. I will let the photos and the description of each dish do the talking because after the first bite I was truly at a loss for words....

Oriental Beancurd Salad - Homemade beancurd and century egg with a sesame shoyu dressing

Shabu-Shabu - Salmon sashimi infused with ginger ponzho shonyu vinaigrette topped with Avruga caviar

Roasted Smoked Duck with Foie Gras - Honey brandy pepper glazed smoked duck accompanied with pan fried foie gras and sautéed white cabbage with turkey bacon. Served with shallot red wine jus

Surf & Turf - A Charbroiled Wagyu Tenderloin with Jumbo King Prawn on bed of morel risotto and butter green asparagus. Served with spicy marsala and crustacean jus.

Touche Red Garoupa - Butter poached Red Garoupa fillet on a green pea mousseline and herb marinated cherry tomatoes. Served with butter orange, ginger and bell pepper sauce, topped with mizuno grape fruit salad.

Happy Birthday, Alexandra!

The salmon sashimi looks delicious. I've tried a similar preparation in Ozeki too.
